It's awesome for 'business,' meaning executives and stockholders. It totally rocks for them. So you can imagine it isn't hard for them to find fault with any argument against it.

Everyone who is for outsourcing jobs should buy a Dell Home PC. When that piece of crap dies, and it will, they should be forced to talk to Dell's customer service and try to get it fixed/ replaced, because nothing is more aggravating than talking to some thick accented indian guy who can't work around the script he's been given. I'd rather talk to any of the 200 IT graduates from BU this year who are going to end up unemployed. Even though half of them are probably stupid and squeeked by with a 2.1 GPA, I'd rather talk to them because at least while they are unable to figure out my problem we can discuss the latest episode of Crank Yankers. And that is why I love HP.

Oh, but look at it this way: by taking 10,000 tech calls, every Indian CS operative will soon be speaking perfect colloquial American English! No training costs!

I own an HP, and when the fan for the power-supply started making funny noises I was told by a nice young lady with an Indian accent that It would cost me $40 to deterime that this was not in fact a software-related problem.

I haven't called in a year, the last guy I talked to about a year ago this month was my age and working there through college and we talked about the Sifl and Olly Show while waiting for stuff to process.
