(no subject)

Yesterday my microwave oven died! If you sense a pout when I say that, you are correct. I was watching it, as after over ten years of reliable operation, it reached the last five seconds of the current cycle, then went "Ahhh.... fuck it." and switched off, for good. I think that's quite a metaphor for mortality, don't you?

Well, at least it finished cooking before it died.
