Has anyone ever heard of a 'Brown Cow'? Milk and Pepsi mixed together? I think I figured out how it was invented. Someone was thirsty and all they had in the fridge was the dregs of some flat Pepsi and some milk that was about to go bad, so they mixed it together and tried it; and having committed this act of bastardy, they convinced themselves it was good so they could live with themselves... this is what the Bible means about abominations.

God isn't talking about having sex with a goat, or masturbating with a clam, or something... he means stuff like mixing soda and milk, or wearing a vest with lots of pockets on it... you know, abominations.

I always heard a brown cow is coke and milk. Of course it was bad if you used pepsi. Pepsi is gross.

One of my favorite drinks that people tell me is disgusting is a fuzzy bear. Kahlua, coke, vodka, and milk. A white russian with coke. If you don't mix it right, it ends up a wierd consistency but still tastes fine.

Yeah, well, the one pervert I ever met who drank them used Pepsi. But I agree, Pepsi is gross. Why one would drink cola without cocaine in it, I'll never know.

Your drink is kind of scary...

I can't have it anymore because I gave up caffeine. Also, I am lactose intolerant so, as much as I enjoy that drink and white russians, if I don't have some lactose free milk in the house, I can't have it. they say that it's better with cream instead of milk, but as far as I know, you can't make lactose free cream. Probably wouldn't end up the right consistency.

You could use aged cheese!

[identity profile] silverbrand.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
This is true! Or yogurt. I love yogurt. I've lost a little weight because my snacks these days are yogurt. Well, yogurt or pickles. Also love pickles!

It's settled, then. A mixed drink made from Kahlua, Coke, vodka, yogurt and pickles. I'd try it...

Last weekend on a lark and to torture Jon, I bought another bottle of Agwa.

Somehow, the taste now seems much more ghastly than it did last time I had it.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
Aww, I wish you'd told me. I thought you were just going to do chores.

[identity profile] dv-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
We had an impromptu get-together on Friday because there was a potluck lunch at work and I made about a gallon too much gumbo and needed someone to help consume it.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I can eat gumbo, too! You'd better not tell me there was sausage in it, or I may have to disown you...

Is there any after-shave left?

[identity profile] dv-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no. It was vegetarian gumbo. It had spinach, mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens, and cabbage. I used seitan, smoked tofu, and abalone mushrooms instead of meat.

There is enough Agwa left to power one frat-boy for at least 20 minutes.

It still sounds pretty good...

That's up there with the milk/orange juice (lateral: bailey's/sunny delight) combination.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
It's like a teeth cleaning in a glass!

[identity profile] paka.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
That actually sounds like an attempt to make an egg cream without cream soda or chocolate syrup - maybe because whoever invented the thing figured that the caramel and coloring in Pepsi made it cover the chocolate syrup base as well.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. Except a brown cow is mostly milk, while I'm pretty sure an egg cream is mostly soda.

VoMPs are bad? But.. but how.. wh..

Well, now my whole world is upside-down!

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
No. Just no. Unless you're a photographer, or a hunter who's actively hunting deer or quail, it is wrong. *smacks your hands*

[identity profile] momentrabbit.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, very well. I shall simply have to acquire more stylish vestments by which to occlude the items I am carrying, then.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Hire a porter to carry them about in a fine leather trunk!

That sounds vaguely palatable in contrast.

[identity profile] dustmeat.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I used to drink Coke and orange juice.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
*fears*

[identity profile] flower-on-fire.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Thanks.

[identity profile] prickvixen.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey. No need to thank me. That's what I'm here for.

[identity profile] carlhh.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 06:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty sure on "Laverne & Shirley", Laverne's favorite drink was Coke and Milk.
