Jan. 9th, 2005 05:51 pm[In an effort to dispel the inherent frivolity in LiveJournal posting, I have taken the logical step, and thrust myself into the public arena as a political pundit. I hope this connotes legitimacy and respectability on my simple observations of life in our great democracy. So here goes.]
Rush Limbaugh just looks like a child molester, doesn't he? I can hear him in that voice of his, like when they bring him in: "Oh, no no, I didn't touch those boys in an improper fashion, hoh hoh hoh..." Jerry Falwell's got that look, too, that executive NAMBLA vibe. Let the little children come unto him.
Bill O'Reilly, on the other hand, doesn't come across as a child molester... he looks like someone who furtively ogles teenage girls through the drapes of his living room, and decries them as young sluts, even as he bitterly masturbates to fantasies of boning them. A middle-aged man on the fast track to dirty old man.
Ann Coulter doesn't give off any sexual vibe at all. She's so shot through with paranoia and loathing that she's too wired to even think in those terms... any public indication of a calm and easygoing demeanor is the result of the most deliberate effort to rise above the nonstop panic attack that is her inner world.
