Feb. 18th, 2005 07:29 pmYesterday: purchased Norman Spinrad's The Iron Dream, Blade Runner, and Rock and Roll Over by KISS. Is this a normal assortment of media for a normal person?
Gene Simmons has a lisp. It's amazing what a little makeup will hide.
This part of the fictional afterword to The Iron Dream amused me:
Here the reader is treated, if that is the word, to something that may be unique in all literature: the most ghastly, perverse and loathsome violence described by a writer who obviously intends such hideous spectacles to be edifying, uplifting, and even expressions of nobility.
