I had a dear friend once who attempted to convert me via Chick tracts. It was the worst thing a well-intentioned fundie could have done to an overimaginative (and information-absorbing) kid. I know he had my Immortal Soul in mind, but unfortunately Chick tracts only convince the terminally confused, mentally ill and idiotic. A buddy of mine and I turned a bunch of them into terrible radio plays.

I never told my friend, and never will. But those radio plays were a hoot to do.
