(no subject)

A rebuild of this model, only with modules of 1/4 the size. I used the same Post-It notes, cut into quarters. The smaller stellated icosahedron is consequently 1/8 the volume of the larger.

This makes me imagine a scenario where you approach a cash register or any other event where you would be expected to reach into your pockets to pull something out, and out with the needed object comes a shower of tiny colorful paper stars.

I have made those. :) Cutting my own paper results in a lot of scrap strips... unfortunately I haven't quite mastered origami star construction, and many of them are deformed in one way or another. nn;

For some reason this is making me think of some alien species out of a Star Trek episode. None in particular just generally so.

Is it the one where some alien turns a redshirt into a geometric shape, and then proceeds to crush it in their hand?
